  • Armoire Hinges

Cliffside Industries offers inset and offset armoire hinges for use on oversized cabinet or pantry doors. Both styles are made from solid brass and available in 11 finishes. Armoire hinges are 'handed' left and right. This means that 'LEFT' hinges are installed on the left side of the door and are used for doors which open leftwards; the opposite is true for 'RIGHT' hinges. An armoire hinge is a large, oversized hinge, designed for use where a smaller cabinet hinge would be too small or not strong enough for a heavy door. Armoire door hinges are much longer than a standard cabinet hinge, usually around 6 inches.

Armoires are just like cabinets; they come in both inset and offset varieties. An inset armoire hinge would be used when the side of the armoire door is flush with the frame of the cabinet. Cliffside's inset armoire hinges are non-mortising. An offset armoire hinge is used when the 'lip' or edge of the door overlays a portion of the frame by 3/8 inch. You can also use armoire hinges for large cabinets, like pantries or when you have a tall door that reaches from counter level to the ceiling. This armoire style hinge offers an alternative to using three, four, or even more hinges on a single door.

The extrusion process used to make Cliffside's hinges creates the strongest armoire hinge you can buy. Hot metal is forced through a die and then sliced off at regular intervals to create a single-piece leaf construction. Cliffside also has one of the best selections of finishes in armoire hinges: popular colors such as oil-rubbed bronze, satin nickel, and two shades of antique brass. Each style is also a lift-off hinge, which allows for easy transport and installation of cabinet doors.

    More on Armoire Hinges

Cliffside doesn’t just offer cabinet and drawer knobs, pulls and handles. We also specialize in solid brass armoire hinges.

We believe our customers should be able to make these timeless furniture pieces beautiful and functional. Whether you’re using an antique armoire to store your clothing, your wedding china or your TV, we offer a full set of armoire hinges to suit your needs.

These six-inch long armoire-style hinges also work well on pantry doors and tall cabinets where a standard hinge just won’t do. Our longer, stronger hinges allow you to use fewer pieces of hardware to get the job done.

Cliffside is unique in that our hinges are designed using single-piece leaf construction. We use durable materials to create a strong hinge that can withstand wear and tear in high-traffic areas. We offer these hinges in a variety of colors to match the rest of your cabinet knobs, pulls, and handles and coordinate with our hardware suites. All finishes are incredibly durable and won’t powder or wear off over time.

Cliffside offers both a left-facing armoire hinge and a right-facing armoire hinge. Our armoire hardware is available in both non-mortising inset and offset styles to suit both flush doors and those with an overlay edge.
